| Abstract |
Background. The stress loading of the contact pairs and satellite supports of the planetary-lantern transmissions can determine its operability. The forces acting in the gear depend on many factors, including inaccuracies in the manufacture of the gear and changes in the relative position of the satellite, the pinwheel and the output shaft. The existing method of static calculation does not allow to reasonably taking into account their influence. The purpose of the article is to improve the static analysis of the transmissions and increase the accuracy of the calculation. Materials and methods. The research uses an analytical method to study the geometric characteristics of the engagement and W mechanism. To determine the elasticity characteristics, the classical contact mechanics of Hertz, as well as the general dependencies of the theory of bending and shear, are applied. Computer modeling is used to obtain quantitative characteristics. Results. A mathematical model and an algorithm for calculating the forces arising in a working planetary-lantern transmissions are developed. Calculations are performed and it is shown how the forces in the contact pairs and on the support in the operating transmission change at a constant torque on the output shaft. Conclusions. The proposed solution makes it possible to more accurately determine the stress loading of contact pairs and satellite supports, taking into account changes in the relative position of the elements. Studies have shown that the structure of the contact zones, the load in the contacts and on the satellite support continuously changes during transmission operation, which must be taken into account in the engineering calculation. |
